Common Questions

Causeway Academy will officially open its doors in September 2026. The school will operate across multiple sites to support a smooth transition and ensure continuity for all students:
  • Year 8, Year 9, and Year 10 will be based at the Carthall Road Campus
  • Year 11 and Year 12 will remain at their legacy Campuses
  • Year 13 will begin sixth form studies at the Cloyfin Campus.
  • Year 14 will complete their studies at Cloyfin Campus

This phased approach allows students to continue their education with minimal disruption while the Academy establishes its full operations.

We want to reassure parents that you do not need to take any action for your child to transfer to Causeway Academy.

All pupils currently enrolled in the three legacy schools will automatically move across to the new school in September 2026. Our administrative teams are working closely together to ensure the process is smooth and fully managed on your behalf.
