What is the plan for September 2026 for Causeway Academy?
- Year 8, Year 9, and Year 10 will be based at the Carthall Road Campus
- Year 11 and Year 12 will remain at their legacy Campuses

Do I need to reapply if I'm part of one of the three legacy schools?
We want to reassure parents that you do not need to take any action for your child to transfer to Causeway Academy.
All pupils currently enrolled in the three legacy schools will automatically move across to the new school in September 2026. Our administrative teams are working closely together to ensure the process is smooth and fully managed on your behalf.
Who is the school for?
Causeway Academy is a new, Controlled Integrated Post-Primary School serving students from across the local community. It is open to all young people of secondary school age, regardless of background, faith, or ability. The transition to Causeway Academy is being carefully phased to ensure stability and continuity for all students. Key milestones include:
September 2026: Causeway Academy officially opens. Students will be based as follows:
